SUMMER SESSION ENGLISH 100: OPTIONS

A. TEST SCORES (SAT, ACT, COMPASS, or Manoa Writing Placement Exam)

To have clearance to register for a Summer Session section of ENG 100, STAR must show either:

(a) "Manoa Writing Placement Exam" score of 3,

OR

(b) new: "Manoa English FW Placement" score of 100 (ENG 100 placement based on standardized test scores).

Students can check scores by

- Clicking on the Transcripts tab, then looking under “General Tests.”

If neither score is listed, students must submit proof of SAT, ACT, or COMPASS scores to the Manoa Writing Program (unofficial copies accepted).

Students with the appropriate test scores who get a "prereq" error when registering should email mwp@hawaii.edu (include name and UH Number).
